✨ Candle Care Tips to Make Your Candles Last Longer
Want your candles to burn brighter, smell stronger, and last longer? Follow these simple tips:
- Trim the Wick Before Every Burn
Before lighting your candle, trim the wick to about ÂĽ inch. This prevents black soot, uneven burning, and large flames. - Let the Wax Pool Fully
Burn your candle for long enough that the top layer of wax melts all the way to the edge of the container—especially the first time. This avoids tunneling and helps your candle burn evenly. - Avoid Drafts
Keep your candle away from fans, open windows, or air conditioners. Drafts cause uneven burning and can lead to wick flickering or wax spills. - Use a Candle Snuffer
Instead of blowing out your candle (which can cause smoke and soot), use a snuffer to extinguish the flame gently and cleanly. - Don’t Burn for Too Long
Limit candle use to 3–4 hours at a time. Letting your candle burn too long can lead to wick “mushrooming” and wasted wax. - Store Candles Properly
Keep them in a cool, dark place when not in use to protect the fragrance and wax integrity.
